This baby loss body scan for rest track was recorded with the baby loss community in mind. Understanding the depths of grief and how loss can leave us feeling exhausted and out of control. This track has been written and recorded to help promote rest at a time that it's needed.


Releasing Guilt

Guilt may be something that comes up following baby loss. This releasing guilt meditation gently takes you through a guided journey into the elements and suggests the idea of letting the guilt go. It is designed to feel restful in a way that is gentle and caring.


Working With Difficult Thoughts & Emotions

This meditation was designed to be used to help bereaved families following baby loss to work with difficult thoughts and emotions. It is a gentle mindfulness practice which guides people through this process, this is a practice and so this meditation will be beneficial when listened to more than once.


Breathing Space

This 3-minute breathing space meditation is designed to use when your mind feels overwhelmed and scattered. It is also very effective when used if you are feeling extremely stressed. The goal of this exercise isn’t to take away negative feelings or thoughts but rather to create more space in which to respond with greater perspective.


Loving Kindness & Self Compassion

This loving-kindness meditation is for you to plant the seeds of self-compassion, cultivate self-compassion, and learn slowly how to love your body following baby loss.


Breathing Anchor

This breathing anchor meditation is to be used when the mind feels distraught and dispersed. This baby loss meditation was recorded with the baby loss community in mind, to help provide some comfort when anxious thoughts or emotions arise following a loss. it can be listened to at any time of day.


Difficult Emotions

R.A.I.N is an audio meditation to support when difficult emotions arise following baby. This meditation takes baby loss parents through a guided practice which advocates how to work with difficult emotions using the R.A.I.N technique.

R – recognize | A – allow | I – investigate | N – nurture || Recognize what is going on | Allow the experience to be there, just as it is; | Investigate with interest and care; | Nurture with self-compassion.


Compassionate Exploration

This RAIN meditation was recorded to support the baby loss community through the provision of this four step process whereby they can use this meditation to help them be with difficult emotions when they arise. In this meditation, the emphasis is on the exploration of thoughts feelings and sensations, while bringing in the essence of acceptance towards what is happening in the present moment with a compassionate heart.


Breath Awareness

This baby loss breath awareness meditation was developed for the baby loss community to help bring some ease following a loss. Please note if you are experiencing the effects of trauma, mindfulness may not always be suitable, if taking your awareness to your breath is triggering for you please come out of the practice. Alternatively you can use a different focus of awareness for example sound.


Walking Meditation

Sometimes when grief feels intense, a sitting meditation is just too much. This is a walking meditation designed to help you reduce anxiety while allowing you to connect with nature and the present moment.


Baby Loss & Delivery

This meditation was written to be used during the time after you receive bad news that you have to say goodbye to your baby and while you wait to deliver your baby. This is a time many families call Limbo Land, a time of not knowing what to do. Its aim is to provide comfort and promote inner strength in preparation for birth.


Bear Meditation (Aching Arms)

This mindfulness meditation can be used with any teddy bear but was designed for the baby loss charity Aching Arms to be used with their baby loss bears to help promote comfort and calm. Its a mindfulness meditation which invites people to engage with their senses while holding their treasured bear.


Twin Loss

This meditation was developed for those who are experiencing a twin loss birth when sadly one baby dies while the other survives and continues to develop for the remainder of the pregnancy. It was written to be used as an alternative birth preparation and relaxation track to help build inner strength and to promote comfort and relaxation at a time when relaxation and comfort seem impossible. It is designed to be used during pregnancy and can also be used during labour also.


Birth Preparation

This meditation is designed to be used prior to the delivery of a baby that has died. It's a track to help families prepare in a way that is gentle. It is written to help promote strength and also reduce anxiety at a difficult time.


Mindful Movement

This baby loss mindful movement track is something that can be used when sitting still feels too much. The practice of mindfulness can be very helpful in the process of moving forward following the loss, however, sometimes formal practices feel too much, and sometimes it can be hard to sit still. Engaging in movement mindfully can help you to engage with the present moment while anchoring your awareness to breath and body.


Mindful Movement

This Mindful Movement meditation was recorded for the baby loss community to bring awareness to the possibility of holding both joy and sadness in one bigger container. It can be common following baby loss for individuals to feel disconnected to the body, a body that feels uncertain and unsafe. This meditation is a gentle invitation to re-connect again in a kind compassionate sense. Some previous experience of mindful movement will be helpful but not essential.


Mothers Day Meditation
